Meet the Factory

Although it often doesn´t look that way, galleries have been places of meetings – various standpoints, opinions and ideas – from their very foundation. In the time of vanishing of social contact in all areas of human endeavour our programme was inspired by Warhol's Factory, The Kitchen of Woody Vasulka or MeetFactory. Places of meeting and artistic cooperation. Different branches of arts, artistic approaches and figures are being interconnected here. MeetFactory serves as an example for the similar type of cooperation. Create such a place on your own! What would that look like? How would that differ from those that you already know? For sure, you have already visited a gallery – would you recall what did it look like? Was it a white cube or did it resemble a shopping centre? What should a proper  gallery look like? Together we will have a look into diverse spaces of the MeetFactory Gallery. We will introduce diverse galleries and museums and subsequently, we will try to create our own gallery for works of art.

  • Price of programme: 40 CZK / person
  • There is a surcharge of 200 CZK for the workshop guided in English.
