Cass McCombs (US) + Eleanor Friedberger (US)

Rather than „singer-songwriter“, the word „storyteller“ comes into mind when talking about Cass McCombs. He went through several bands in the 90s in his native California, but the first solo album came only in 2003. Productive all along with all albums being consistently praised and scoring “best of” polls, drawing inspiration from folk, psychedelia, punk as well as country and tackling sociopolitical issues through his uniquely cracked lens of lyrical wit and singular insight, inviting scores of guests, such as Angel Olson or legend Karen Black. The upcoming 9th record “Tip Of The Spear” will be no different, with the song “Sleeping Volcano” already being rotated heavily. Cass McComb’s first ever Prague show will happen at MeetFactory on Tuesday, May 28.
