Glyders + Fumar Mata

"Sheer guitar joy." The nocturnal minimalist rock'n'roll of Chicago-based duo Glyders is coming back to Prague after seven long years, this time joined by drummer Joe Seger. In 2023, the band released a great full-length album Maria’s Hunt on the reputable US label Drag City, brimming with their distinct analogue lo-fi sound, hypnotic repetitiveness and psychedelic riffs par excellence.

Emerging Prague formation Fumar Mata is in charge of the opening duties. Uniting the up-and-coming generation of neo-psychedelia fans, the band echoes The Brian Jonestown Massacre both with their sound and their vibe. Set to release their debut record later this year, Fumar Mata will play alongside Glyders at MeetFactory's backyard on Sunday July 21st.
