GusGus (ISL) + Jacob Korn (DE) - SOLD OUT

Iceland’s GusGus has gone a truly long genre-bending way in their almost twenty years’ existence. From the trip-hop beginnings on legendary 4AD imprint (eponymous debut from ’95 and the radio-happy Polydistortion two years later), through the house-y and trance bends to the current, pulsating and beat-heavy Mexico album – released this June – that carries on the pedigree of the phenomenal, techno-driven masterpiece Arabian Horse from 2011. The band’s collaborators changed rapidly, with the core crew currently being Birgir “Biggi” Thorarinsson, Daníel Ágúst, Högni Egilsson and Stephan “President Bongo” Stephensen and according to recent testimonies, they are on the top of the game with their new live shows. GusGus return to Prague after 6 years and it would be a hell-of-a-mistake to miss them.

The evening will commence with the live-set from housey Jacob Korn hailing from the Dresden-based Uncanny Valley label, who will return to Prague 4 years after his pitch-perfect show at now sadly defunct Sperm Festival.
