Helms Alee + Tomáš Palucha

Seattle's sludge trio Helms Alee are coming to Prague for third time. After supporting Russian Circles twice in 2015 and 2022, they will play a concert at MeetFactory as a part of their upcoming European tour (which only counts ten stops). Supporting them will be local post-rock instrumental stalwart Tomáš Palucha.

Helms Alee's origins date back to 2007, when after a couple of singles on Broken Press and Rome Plow, their debut album got picked up by Aaron Turner's (Isis, Sumac, Old Man Gloom, Mamiffer) Hydra Head label. Night Terror can also be considered the last record to feature the reverberations of Harkonen who share a common denominator with Helms Alee in the form of Ben Verellen (guitar, vocals). With a three-year gap between Stillicide (2016) and Noctiluca (2019), Helms Alee released their latest studio record to date last year, Keep This Be the Way, the band's most complete opus yet, a sonic barrage of the underwater world.
