The closing film of the July Summer Cinema cycle dedicated to sex will show
an audacious view of the often neglected side of human sexuality which plays
one of the main roles in David Cronenberg’s work. Perverse behaviour and
physicality pervade Cronenberg’s 1996 movie Crash which puts into the spotlight
the dark side of our sexuality where fascination with danger meets admiration
for physical mutilations. This week we’ll visit an underground community of
people who survived car crashes, who sexualise their traumas and objectify
their desires. However, this dark and daring movie is above all about our
craving for intimacy which could be deepened by a limit situation.
Screening start at 21:30.
Entrance fee is 80 CZK, for visitors with permanent residency on Prague 5 with a 50 % discount.
We are looking forward to seeing you!
