Summer Cinema: Lost Highway

“I like to remember things my own way. How I remembered them, not necessarily the way they happened.”

Renee, the wife of saxophonist Fred Madison, finds a videotape on the front step of his luxurious villa; someone has recorded a crime committed in the bedroom of his home. The bloodied victim looks like Renee, and the killer looks like Fred. The police are called, and they arrest the musician, but a few days later they discover that an unknown young man has somehow taken his place in the cell…

Does this iconic David Lynch film even need an introduction? Lost Highway will close out the fourteenth season of the summer cinema in the backyard of MeetFactory.

Summer Cinema returns to MeetFactory for the fourteenth time. A curated selection of eleven films will be screened in the Factory's backyard, as selected by the members of the venue's team. In June and July, the screenings begin at 9:30 p.m.; in August and September at 8:30 p.m. Before the film, the current exhibitions in MeetFactory Gallery and Kostka Gallery can be visited free of charge. A bar is available on site, and admission to all screenings is free.
