Summer Cinema MeetFactory: Stranger Than Paradise

The second movie by an unofficial king of independant cinematography. 
Assimilated emigrant Béla "Willie" Molnár isn´t proud of his roots, so he is not really thrilled when his sixteen years old  cousin from Hungary visits him. As the time goes he realizes that they have more in common than he originally thought. Minimalistic story and black and white image, bitter irony, deconstruction of the image of America as the dream land. In the lead roles John Lurie and Eszter Balint.
