Silver Rocket presents: Neurosis (US) + DEAFKIDS (BR)

One word: Neurosis. Or even better, with capital letters: NEUROSIS. Few contemporary bands can boast such a status. The legendary five-piece from Oakland, California, whose beginnings date back to 1985, have influenced thousands of bands around the world throughout their career, but the original remains unsurpassable, and unbeatable. Neurosis return to Prague on June 15th, 2018, to play only their third club show in the Czech Republic in the last decade (and only fourth of all time!) at MeetFactory. Brazilian industrial punks Deaf Kids will be opening.

Neurosis‘ eleventh and still current release "Fires Within Fires" from 2016 is clear proof that the cult has not weakened - perhaps the other way around. The record is like a blast of fresh air; raw, somewhat unexpectedly aggressive, yet featuring everything that makes Neurosis easily recognizable after only a few seconds. The claim that the band has had the same influence on the development of music as the most famous names from the encyclopedia of hard & heavy is by no means an exaggeration. A collective vision, unyielding, patient, uncompromising, and stubborn: Neurosis. Or more appropriately: NEUROSIS.
