A fresh Australian wave of garage psychedelia and hypnotic folk rock.

On their 2018 debut Digital Mountain, Brisbane's Nice Biscuit present a distinct vision of ethereal psych rock centered around dynamic instrumental grooves and sublime vocals. Since forming in 2016 the band have gained a reputation for their awe-inspiring live shows, hypnotising audiences in Australia and across the UK. Nice Biscuit have played with the likes of Altın Gün, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard or Brian Jonestown Massacre.

Their sister project Baby Cool adds a touch of country to the psych-folk cocktail. It is the is the latest side project by Nice Biscuit co-front woman Grace Cuell. "The songs are deeply sentimental. I have a lot I need to sing about to help me make sense of this earthly pod I have been gifted. If in singing these words out loud, I can help others find solace in knowing that we're all out here flailing about in the cosmos, then it feels good to me."

Nice Biscuit and Baby Cool will perform together in a Czech premiere at MeetFactory's background on Tuesday 23 May.
