Syria usually occupies the news for not-so-lighthearted reasons, but Syrian singer Omar Souleyman is doing his best to balance this. He cruises the world for 15 years with his hypnotic rhythms, lyrics of love and oblivion and the characteristic dabke dance, has recently released a new album “To Syria, with Love” and three years after his sold-out show at MeetFactory will return to pump up the Saturday night fever on May 25, 2019.
