Open Call Artist Book #1

MeetFactory Gallery is announcing an open call to submit projects for an artist book publication, “Artist Book#1”. It should enable artists and art groups to implement an artwork in the form of a book. The project wishes to support specific experimental concepts and long-term research art projects suitable to be published in a book form. We emphasize up-to-dateness and originality, while topics remain free.  

Artist Book#1 is a pilot project, which extends the existing gallery dramaturgy of the MeetFactory by the activity of publishing, focused exclusively on artist and art books.  

Provided by the MeetFactory is:

• Production and conceptual support
• Coverage of the publishing costs (editing, translation, graphic design, printing)
• Book presentation and distribution  

Open call Artist Book#1 is designed for both Czech and foreign artists and art groups with a long presence in the Czech art scene.  

Deadline for submitting the applications: 15th July 2016. 

What your application must contain:

• Project description and visualization (PDF, max. 10 MB)
• Author CV (PDF)
