Sleep Party People (DK) + Planety (CZ)

Dreamy vocals, blurred guitars & bunny masks. Danish musician Brian Batz’s dream-pop project might seem inconspicuous at first, but is a grower with fans, especially after the third record “Floating”, released in May last year. On the album, Brian – with the production help by Jeff Saltzman (The Killers) or Mikael Johnston (Blondie, The Sounds) – expands further his characteristic sound, from Boards-of-Canada-inspired soundscapes through shoegaze buzzing to psych-rock tripping. This psychedelia bubbles to the surface especially at the live shows, for which Brian puts together a full band, albeit covered in omnipresent bunny masks. Sleep Party People will play Prague for the first time at Wednesday, May 6th.

SPP will be joined by Silesian off-mainstream troupe Planety who have released a wonderful record "Nekonečná hudba města zapomeneš" last year.
