Adrianna Szojda

Adrianna Szojda (b.1989, Poland) is a researcher, eco-farmer and cultural mediator who works mainly at the intersection of art, education and agroecology. She investigates human and more-than-human interrelationships, looking for possible ways of communication between species through plurisensoriality and non-hegemonic epistemologies. Her field of interest embraces ecofeminist education, food sovereignty and justice, regenerative practices and ways to create more-than-just-human communities based on care and collaboration. Currently lives and works in Maresme, Spain.

EDUCATION

Constantly learning from the fields, forests and orchards, human and more-than-human communities. Graduated in Art History from the University of Barcelona with the thesis "Beyond the human. Interspecies, plurisensorial and material communication in artistic practice" (2020). MA in Visual Arts and Education: A Constructionist Approach, University of Barcelona (2023). Courses is Ethnobotany (Tárrega, Spain, 2023) and Ecological Agriculture (San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife, 2017-2018). She received a Complemento Directo scholarship from Hablarenarte and Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation (2022). Member of La Escocesa community since 2022.
