Farbos born in Saint Germain en Laye in France, lives and
works in Stuttgart and Paris.
Farbos’practice thrives in experimenting with materials, sometimes also making way for performances and photography. Using different techniques (plaster cast, casing, high-temperature glass pouring), she transforms matter in the intention of “bringing it to life”. First perceived as a simple physical element, her artistic intervention reveals its spiritual side, its soulful component.
She has performed and exhibited: Fabulation in French Institut Stuttgart (2017) and Gedock Galerie, Stuttgart DE (2017), Winter garden, Ameisenberg Projekt Raum, Stugttart DE (2017) Contempory art fair-Künstlermesse Karlsrhue DE (2017), Régionale 17 in L6 Freiburg DE (2016), Etape 2, Galerie du 48, Rennes, FR (2016), Kinact (festival of art performance), Kinshasa, (2015) RDC, Lunar caustic, Galerie Vincenz Sala, Paris, (2014), FR, REGIONALE 13, Projektraum M54, Basel, (2013) CH
Today, throught the grant “Stipendium des Landkreises Esslingen 2016-2019”, she has received a studio for three years in Stuttgart with a monographic catalogue and a solo exhibition programmed for 2019.
