Marcel Mieth

Marcel Mieth studied sculpting at the University of the Arts Berlin-Weissensee under Karin Sander, Inge Mahn and Berndt Wilde and graduated in 2006 as a student of the master class.

At university, he began working with Lina Faller, Thomas Stüssi and Susanne Weck as FallerMiethStüssiWeck, or FMSW for short. “Where are we?” became the central question for the group. The topic is explored through expansive installations and, conceptually, with a Global Positioning System.

Residency is supported by Czech and German Fund of Future a Goethe Institut Prag.
