MeetFactory is an interdisciplinary complex of dramaturgic series based on the international residential program already successfully proven in past gallery activities. At the MeetFactory, which occupies the building of an old glass factory, fine arts, theatre, film, music and educational programs intertwine. The MeetFactory Artists in Residency program started in 2007.

MeetFactory building

MeetFactory has a concert hall for up to 1200 visitors, a theatre and film hall, a main gallery with three rooms, totaling 300 m2, a cube gallery of 100 m2 and 15 ateliers ranging from 28 to 110 m2. The Residency floor is equipped with a bathroom, shared kitchen and laundry room. Each atelier is provided with a table, chair and bed. There is Wi-Fi internet access in the whole building, in some rooms, a LAN connection is also available. There is a Project Room equipt with  tools.

Transport

MeetFactory is situated on the southern edge of the wider center of Prague. The nearest public transport stop is approx. 400 meters far. It takes about 5 minutes to get to the nearest tube station, and some 20 minutes to get to the center of Prague. MeetFactory is easily reachable by car, which can be parked on the road leading to the MeetFactory building. 

 

Flats for living

Nowadays, MeetFactory is renting two flats that can be shared by artists. One flat is situated near the tube station Andel in Mozartova Street. It is a flat with two rooms and one living room and kitchen. This flat is easily reachable from MeetFactory by tram or tube. The second flat is located on the other side of the river, on Pisnická Street. This flat has three rooms and one kitchen. There is a direct bus connection from MeetFactory to Pisnicka flat. Both flats are reachable by municipal transport during the night.
