Eight Dutch Artists take turns in MeetFactory studio 22 in the course of their action-reaction project ‘Wednesday, Meatloaf Day'. This project provides the spectator with an interesting view of the progress of the collective art work and the individual art works besides the result of the action-reaction project. This raises questions about the originality and origin of the artist's work.
7th Artist in the row is Karin van Pinxteren, contributing with ‘The Caretaker'.
She has simplified the work of the six previous artists into a condensed composition. The open cluster contains several works that have been leading parts in the months before. A part of the energy of the artist that have worked here is still present. In opposite of the cluster van Pinxteren puts the physical perfection of a bird that for short flew in Prague. Both are not yet dissolved. As a caretaker she brings a strong moment of silence into environments where presence and tendency quickly vanish.
