American maverick, rapper and producer Sumach Echs has released music in his hometown San Diego since the 90’s, but it wasn’t until his debut for Warp Records “A Sufi and a Killer” in 2010, when he literally exploded all over experimental music scene. The album, produced by the likes of Flying Lotus or Gaslamp Killer has become an instant hit with its wild combination of experimental hip hop and psychedelia.

After a tour with dull live band went sour last year, Gonjasufi went further underground and came back only earlier this year with “MU.ZZ.LE”, his second full length for Warp. The album is, again, doing well with both music journalists and fans, and encouraged Sumach to get back on road with brand new synth and drum-machines based band. This will be the first time for Gonja in Prague, so don’t miss him!
