The next in the series of MeetFactory’s summer concerts will feature two singular local acts united by raw emotional authenticity, lo-fi aesthetics, and a DIY ethos. On Tuesday, July 7, the Factory’s backyard outdoors stage will host Josefina Dusk and Spiral Sadness.

Josefina Dusk transforms feelings of anxiety, panic, and l’appel du vide into playfully dystopian, dense techno-pop with manic, fairy-like energy. Equally suited for damp cave revelries and baroque stages. On her new album méh₂tēr, Dusk gives space to trapped thoughts and emotions, releasing them in a wild, tangential outburst, charting the journey from pregnancy through childbirth to motherhood. Raw joy, sleepless nights, tears, and laughter.

Behind the DIY project Spiral Sadness – which blends alternative hip-hop, emotional rap, raw beats, and analog noise – stands visual artist and musician Michal Drozen. His self-titled debut album s/t was released on Stoned To Death Records.
