Superior Orders
(2013, directors: Viktor Oszkár Nagy, András Petrik, 50 minutes)
Masses are trying the illegal border crossing to reach the European Union. On the Hungarian side, some of the locals patrol the border of their villages and the EU as volunteer civil guards. On the other side a pastor from Subotica aids the survival of the immigrants ready to jump the border. The film was created within the project "Hide and Seek", supported by the European Union`s European Refugee Fund.

Those (2015, director:
Krisztina Meggyes, 28 minutes)
Vámosszabadi was a peaceful, wealthy village in Hungary until a sudden event disturbed the tranquility of the settlement: in 2013 a new refugee camp was established just kilometers away from their border. The villagers reacted strongly and started to protest, an activist group decided to do anything to get rid of the immigrants. This situation highlighted an other, hidden conflict. There are two different kinds of people in the village: the mostly older original villagers, and the younger, wealthy newcomers. Finally the villagers split into two parts: the older ones accepted the presence of the strangers, but the newcomers got more and more angry. They say that life has a natural risk, but having strangers walking in your street is not among those, that is an extra risk they do not want to take. In fact, this little village faced a difficulty that the rest of the world also did, only a few months later. The new situation brought up questions regarding tolerance, fear of the unknown and migration.
