Kostka Gallery: Open Call 

In recent years, we have seen a huge increase in interest in open call: nearly 300 applications from around the world met last year. Of course, we are happy about such a large number, but at the same time the apparent disproportion between the number of projects sent and the number of projects that we can actually implement seems problematic in the long term. At the same time, however, we are aware of the fundamental positive that open call brings, namely the possibility of expanding the filed of view of the responosible curators of MeetFactory and opening the exhibition program to authors (or visiting curators) who might otherwise escape our attention. For this reason, we chose a more direct method of "internal open call" based on qualitative pre-selection by contemporary art professionals who we know have a very good grasp of contemporary creators and are important to their work support.
